The release says Trout also showed off his firearms while making these threats, and he demonstrated extended clips with 60 bullets while saying, “That’s 60 shots. That’s 60 people dead.”

Trout was ultimately taken into custody and made his initial appearance in federal court on Friday in Tampa, the release shows.

He faces a charge of knowingly transmitting in interstate commerce a true threat. If convicted, Trout faces a maximum penalty of five years in prison.
