WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – A newlywed couple was shot and killed Saturday in Florida, according to reports.

WPTV-TV reported that Palm Beach County sheriff’s deputies were called to a West Palm Beach home for a shooting and found a man and woman dead.

The names of the victims have not been released, but WPTV reported that a woman at the scene who identified herself as the female victim’s sister said the couple got married on Dec. 2.

The woman said three of her 45-year-old sister’s children were inside the house at the time of the shooting, including one adult who witnessed it.

Sony Josaphat was arrested on two counts of first-degree murder in connection to the deaths, but details about what led to the double-shooting have not been released.

Josaphat was being held without bond.
