Top 5 gifts everyone is asking for this Christmas

Top electronics, accessories

If you still haven’t finished your Christmas shopping, you are not alone, but with just days left until the holiday, the clock is ticking.

So, Florida’s Fourth Estate hosts Matt Austin and Ginger Gadsden are helping you identify some of the top gifts people are asking for this year.

Check out their suggestions below.

AirTags

Ginger said the small devices that help you electronically track your personal possessions can be a lifesaver.

“This really saved me because we were traveling out of the country and they said my luggage didn’t make it and I went up to the lady at the counter at the airport and she was like, ‘There is no record that your luggage made it onto that plane.’ I was like, ‘Ma’am there is a record of my phone pinging right behind that wall where you are standing,” Gadsden said.

Then, she got her luggage back.

Ginger pointed out you can get four AirTags for as low as $79.

Owalla FreeSip

Matt swears by these travel cups.

“If you get a kid a drink cup, they’re never going to clean it and it is definitely going to spill in their backpack. So, this battles both of those two issues,” he said.

He showed off the multifunctional drink opening and the lock at the top of the cup, then proceeded to toss it on the ground. It did not spill.

The cups go for as low as $14.

Pickleball Paddles

Matt said everyone is playing pickleball nowadays, including him.

He said you can get a lot of different accessories including a quality mid-range paddle for about $99.

He said this gift makes sense for someone who is already playing, especially if you would like to give them a nice upgrade.

Tazz Uggs

They are not just slippers. For many people they double as shoes.

Ginger said it is reminiscent of another popular shoe.

“They’ve basically turned into Crocs. You are only supposed to wear those in the garden,” she said.

But these popular, multifunctional shoes also sport a real heel and what looks like a more comfortable fit.

They can be hard to find and start at about $125.

3-in-1 Charger

Now you can charge your phone, AirPods and smartwatch all at the same time without all of the extra cords.

“You have one wire, it’s plugged into the wall and that’s it,” Ginger said.

Matt loved it because he said you could put your phone sideways on the stand and use your phone as an alarm clock.

The nice thing about this gift is that you can save big by buying an off-brand and it still gets the job done.
