The agency said it can still cause a variety of symptoms in healthy individuals, including “high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea,” and may also cause miscarriages in pregnant people.

The Fresh Express brand has a “use by” date of Dec. 15 and the Publix bag has a Dec. 14 expiration date.

Both brands have a product code of G332. Product codes are located on the front of the packages below the use-by dates.

So far, the FDA said no one has gotten sick from the recalled spinach.

If you have the recalled spinach in your fridge, throw it away. To get a refund, call the Fresh Express Consumer Response Center at (800) 242-5472 between the hours of 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Eastern Time, or return the affected spinach to the store where it was purchased.
