Hayden Christensen coming to MegaCon Orlando as Star Wars guest list grows

ORLANDO, Fla. – Darth Vader is joining Obi-Wan Kenobi for MegaCon Orlando in February.

Hayden Christensen will appear on Saturday during the four-day pop-culture convention. In addition to a panel and autograph signings, Christensen will also join Ewan McGregor for a photo-op session with guests.

McGregor and Christensen played iconic characters Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader in the Star Wars prequel films. The pair reunited in 2022 for the Disney+ series “Obi-Wan Kenobi.”

Christensen also returned to the Star Wars universe the following year in “Ahsoka” as Anakin.

Autograph tickets and photo-ops for both Christensen and McGregor went on sale Wednesday.

MegaCon is a pop-culture convention at the Orange County Convention Center. It’s one of the largest conventions in the southeastern U.S. Last year, some 160,000 people attended. Dozens of actors, comic book artists and gaming celebrities will be on hand to meet fans.

In addition to McGregor and Christensen, several other Star Wars celebrities will be in attendance, including Anthony Daniels (C-3PO), Giancarlo Esposito (”The Mandalorian”), Eman Esfandi (”Ahsoka”) and Diana Lee Inosanto (”Ahsoka”).

Stars from series like “Stranger Things,” “Star Trek,” “Doctor Who,” “Charmed” and the Marvel Cinematic Universe will also be in attendance. You can find the full celebrity lineup HERE.

The convention runs Feb. 1-4. Tickets are on sale on the MegaCon website.
