Kevin Harrison, 19, accused of killing Lekendre Hall, 37

LEESBURG, Fla. – The 19-year-old accused of shooting and killing a man at a home in Leesburg surrendered to police on Friday.

Kevin Harrison is now being held in the Lake County jail. Police announced his surrender in a social media post.

Investigators believe Harrison shot and killed Lekendre Hall, 37, at a home in the 1900 block of W. Main St. on Wednesday.

Police said Harrison was identified as the shooter following interviews with several witnesses.

Officers have not said what led to the shooting or whether there is any connection between Harrison and Hall.

A woman — Destiny Pendleton, 22 — was arrested Wednesday following the shooting. Police said she tried to remove shell casings from the scene and attempted to hide them inside her body.

She faces charges of resisting officers without violence and tampering with evidence.
