MERRITT ISLAND, Fla. – In an exciting initiative for Florida residents, Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is offering complimentary admission for kids five and under throughout 2024 with the introduction of the Junior Space Explorer Pass.
The pass, exclusively available to Florida residents, allows young space enthusiasts to enjoy the additions of Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex at no cost through Dec. 31, 2024.

To take advantage of this opportunity, parents or guardians are required to pre-register their little ones, who must be five or younger at the time of redemption. Verification of the child’s age is necessary and can be provided through a valid form of ID, such as a certified birth certificate or travel passport. The complex said that school IDs or children’s security IDs will not be accepted. Additionally, parents or guardians need to present a photo ID with proof of their Florida residential address.
Registration for the Junior Space Explorer Pass is exclusively available through the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex website and must be completed by Feb. 21. Leaders said that this offer cannot be registered at the front entrance. Once activated, the pass offers complimentary admission for the young space enthusiasts through Dec. 31.
While the Junior Space Explorer Pass offers an exciting opportunity for families, blackout dates may apply, including times when launch viewing and special events are scheduled.
