Man shot in leg during dispute in Casselberry, police say

Officers respond to area of Wilshire Drive and Mark David Boulevard

CASSELBERRY, Fla. – A man shot another man in the leg during a dispute early Thursday in Casselberry, police said.

Officers responded to the shooting around 5:45 a.m. in the area of Wilshire Drive and Mark David Boulevard, according to a news release.

The man who was shot suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital after officers performed first aid, the release stated. Police said the shooter remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators, adding that no arrests were made.

The firearm was taken into evidence, there is no threat to the public and anyone with further information about the shooting or the people involved was asked to contact Crimeline at 800-423-8477 or Casselberry police via email.
