During the investigation, police identified Foy as the suspect and said he worked at Blankner School, an Orange County K-8 school.
Police have not said how long the abuse was going on for, or how long Foy was employed at the school.
The school’s principal, Junella Kreil, sent a message out to parents Friday saying that Foy will not return to the school.
According to the school’s faculty website, Foy was listed as a teacher at the school.
Foy was charged with lewd or lascivious conduct and offenses against students by authority figures.
This is a developing story.
