CENTRAL FLORIDA, Fla. â Youâre used to seeing WKMG News 6 Anchors Matt Austin and Ginger Gadsden on TV during the newscasts and on their podcast, Floridaâs Fourth Estate on the app or website, but weâre giving you an opportunity to get up-close behind-the-scenes look at how the show comes together.
Floridaâs Fourth Estate podcast covers popular topics and features interviews with Central Florida community members doing interesting and innovative things. Now the show is going on the road for a live, in-person episode at Millerâs Ale House in Winter Park Village on February 9th, 2024.
âThis is the perfect timing for this type of episode because itâs held just a few days before the Super Bowl and itâs the perfect segway for the big game that airs on CBS,â said Ginger.
The guest for the live show is legendary football coach, Lou Holtz.
âHeâs so recognizable. He was with the Fighting Irish for a long time. When he was the coach at NC State in the 70â˛s, he recruited my father, Chuck Austin, My dad didnât end up going with that team. Iâm definitely going to bring it up,â said Matt. âOur audience will be able to meet him and ask questions so it will truly be interactive.â
âYouâre going to have a great time and you never know what to expect during a show with a live audience. Youâll see yourself on TV at some point,â said Ginger. âWeâve also got some great swag and prizes weâll be giving out and we love to have the opportunity to meet and interact with the people in our community.â
