Deputies said they responded to the Microtel Hotel along Kingswood Drive around 7:20 p.m. Thursday after receiving information from the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office about a child kidnapping case.

Inside the room, investigators found a 3-year-old child who appeared to be unharmed, the report said. Williams was arrested while the child was safely returned to her mother.

“Through a thorough and coordinated response by our deputies and Osceola deputies, this child abduction ended quickly and happily with the child being safely reunited with her mother,” said Flagler County Sheriff Rick Staly. “In this case, the suspect fled into the wrong county not knowing that we coordinate closely with other law enforcement agencies, and she found herself in the Green Roof Inn.”
