‘I have to pee:’ Woman who pulled pants down on Orlando flight faces federal charges

Dulce Huertas, 60, faces charges of indecent exposure and assault

PHILADELPHIA, Penn. – A woman seen pulling her pants down on a Frontier Airlines flight last year now faces federal charges, according to court records filed on Tuesday.

That woman — identified as Dulce Huertas, 60 — was caught on camera flashing her passengers during the flight from Orlando to Philadelphia in November.

Footage shared with News 6 by passenger Julie Hartman shows Huertas saying, “Sorry, everybody” before pulling down her pants and squatting in the aisle.

In an affidavit filed on Tuesday, an FBI agent said that Huertas had been served two alcoholic drinks during the flight, and she got out of her seat just before the flight landed, stating, “I have to pee.”

However, the affidavit states that a flight attendant told Huertas that she needed to stay seated, prompting Huertas to begin yelling and cursing at the attendant before sitting back down.

Agents said that after the plane landed and was taxied to the gate, Huertas began cursing at passengers around her, and security was called in for help.

“Once the plane arrived at the gate and the seatbelt sign was turned off — but before any external doors were opened to allow passengers to leave the aircraft — Huertas resumed her aggressive behavior and pushed passengers out of the way as she moved to the front of the plane,” the affidavit reads.

As Huertas approached the plane’s lavatory, she was stopped by flight attendants, leading her to pull her pants and underwear down “as she squatted as if to urinate in the aisle,” agents added.

However, she was seen pulling her pants back up before yelling, “I don’t give a (expletive). No, (expletive) you! I gotta go pee!” She eventually walked away and confronted a flight attendant.

Meanwhile, another passenger on the flight could be heard saying, “That poor little boy,” likely referring to the young boy in the seat next to where Huertas dropped her pants.

Huertas told a flight attendant, “Let me pass, let me pass,” though the attendant stood in her way to allow another attendant to disarm the plane’s main cabin door, according to the FBI.

Due to Huertas’ actions, the attendant was concerned that she was going to open one of the external doors and activate an emergency slide, the affidavit says.

Investigators explained that Huertas “used her belly” to bump the attendant, though Huertas still wasn’t able to get past.

As a result, Huertas continued to “yell, curse and threaten to kill multiple passengers,” the affidavit reads.

Huertas faces federal charges of indecent exposure, assault, and interfering with flight crew members. She was later released on bond.

“Matthew Hartman and I had the most awful experience flying home from Florida this afternoon,” Julie Hartman wrote on Facebook. “A passenger was upset that she was required to sit in her assigned seat and decided to pull her pants down on the plane right in front of two children. I literally had a front row seat to the spectacle. She threatened to kill another passenger. She threatened me after I told her to sit down. I hope she was arrested and banned from flying every again.”
