WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – A person was shot early Thursday outside a pub in Winter Haven, according to police.
The shooting occurred just after midnight in the parking lot of the Office Pub at 1243 1st Street S, police said in a statement.

The victim was taken to a hospital and their condition was unknown at the time of this report, police said.
Authorities believe the incident was isolated and that the general public was not in danger.
