Dogs take over Orlando’s Lake Eola for Paws in the Park

30th annual event on Saturday hosted by Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando

ORLANDO, Fla. – Dogs will rule Lake Eola Park on Saturday as the annual Paws in the Park festival returns for its 30th year in Orlando.

Part doggy festival, part fundraiser and adoption event, Paws in the Park is a chance to bond with your pup through dog-related activities, support local vendors and help spread awareness about the new for more pet adoption in the Orlando area.

The event is hosted by Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando and features live entertainment, food trucks, a marketplace and a beer garden for humans. There is also a doggy costume contest, a fun zone featuring a doggie psychic and art activities, a kissing booth, a dock diving area, a lure course and more.

Paws in the Park raises money for the shelter, which cares for thousands of dogs and cats every year through facilities in Orlando and Sanford.

The festival runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Lake Eola Park.
