Meanwhile, another Publix location is currently undergoing renovations in Oviedo, Publix officials told News 6.

That store — located at 81 Alafaya Woods Blvd. — is expected to be larger than most of the other recently opened stores once it’s finished.

While Publix didn’t provide News 6 with a timeline for its completion, the chain said it would also have seating next to the bakery.

In addition, the chain is expecting to open a brand new location in Central Florida next month.

The newest Publix is scheduled to open in Orlando at the Shoppes at Storey Park — located at 11286 Dowden Road — on March 7.
