22-year-old dies after being found shot in vehicle at Rockledge apartment complex

ROCKLEDGE, Fla. – A 22-year-old man died after he was found suffering from a gunshot inside a vehicle at a Rockledge apartment complex Sunday evening, according to police.

Rockledge police said officers responded to reports of a crash around 7:10 p.m. at the Hammock Harbor Apartments at at 1330 Naples Circle.

Officers discovered a man – later identified as Israel Ramos Loredo, of Cocoa – inside a GMC Yukon, police said.

Loredo was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to a news release.

Police said the vehicle did not belong to Loredo, and they do not believe he lived at the apartment complex, where it’s believed he was shot.

Investigators do not have any leads about the suspected shooter.

The shooting remains under investigation.
