COCOA, Fla. – A death investigation is ongoing in Brevard County after a man was shot to death last month, sheriff’s officials said Friday.
The fatal shooting happened early Feb. 17 on Ellis Drive in unincorporated Cocoa.

The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office said deputies were called to the area for a shooting and found DeShaun Stewart wounded.
Stewart was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, sheriff’s officials said.
No arrests have been made.
“The investigation is ongoing and active as investigators are attempting to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident,” the sheriff’s office said in a statement.
