Stroll through the 65th annual Winter Park Sidewalk Art Festival

WINTER PARK, Fla. – The popular, springtime Winter Park Sidewalk Art Festival returns for its 65th year in 2024.

Organizers said the festival brings an estimated 350,000 visitors with art categories like digital art, jewelry, glass, painting, metal, photography, sculpture and more.

The event, which runs March 15-17, is located along Park Avenue at Central Park and will feature 216 juried fine artists from around the country and three emerging artists.

According to organizers, the Winter Park Sidewalk Art Festival is produced by an all-volunteer board and is “is one of the nation’s oldest, largest and most prestigious outdoor art festivals.”

Artists will compete for 64 awards totaling $76,500 with the Best of Show award bringing in $12,000 for the winner.

Organizers said this year’s poster is by artist Irina Kovnacka Ashcraft, depicting a boathouse, inspired by Winter Park’s popular chain of lakes.

Hours are 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday an 9 a.m. through 5 p.m. on Sunday.
