ORLANDO, Fla. – A man was shot and critically injured early Monday in an Orange County neighborhood, deputies said.
The shooting was reported near 24th Street and South Lee Avenue, north of Michigan Street and west of I-4.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office said deputies were called to the area and found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. The man was taken to a hospital in critical condition, deputies said.
Several Orange County sheriff’s cruisers were at the scene, and a helicopter was spotted overhead.
“We do not have any additional details to release at this time,” sheriff’s officials said in a statement.
