Winter Park police confirmed that officers responded to a USPS carrier who was robbed just after noon Monday in the 1100 block of Minnesota Avenue.

Witnesses said the carrier told them she was robbed at gunpoint for her arrow key, sought by criminals because the keys typically open multiple mailboxes.
The suspects got into a dark blue SUV that was last seen heading towards South Orlando Avenue. A third person was allegedly driving the vehicle.
USPS reports that in the past decade, the yearly number of robberies and assaults has risen by more than 400%.
The Federal Trade Commission recommends people cancel bank accounts if the information gets into the wrong hands.
