For the planners and gift-givers in the audience, consider spending your Saturday trawling Central Florida for a fun gift to hand over during your Sunday soirée with dear mom. Orlando just on its own is packed with stores selling just about everything.

Shop along Corrine Drive for all sorts of gifts, such as flowers from Palmer’s Garden & Goods (or perhaps more farm-centric supplies such as live chicks and hay bales at Palmer Feed Store in Parramore), curios and vintage clothing from The Lovely Boutique Market, music or funny socks from Park Ave CDs or any number of handmade creations — edible or otherwise — at East End Market.

Edgewater Drive in College Park has been bustling lately, drawing streetwalkers into shops such as The Jungle Room for lush potted plants, Dechoes for discounted high-fashion pieces and Foundation Records for good times on vinyl.

On Sunday, guests can take advantage of buy-one-get-one-free passes to the Orlando Auto Museum. For each children’s pass purchased for the Orlando Auto Museum, guests can receive a free adult ticket. That means even If mom isn’t a car enthusiast, dad can bring the kids and give mom a day all to herself. To redeem this offer, tickets must be purchased in person.

Helena Modern Riviera will host an extravagant Mother’s Day brunch with a lavish menu featuring both traditional favorites and Mediterranean-inspired dishes from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The price is $59 per adult and $19 for children under 12 with the option to add on a mimosa package for $24.

We’ve got more shopping options below, but you could otherwise try one of many day-of events scheduled this weekend, such as a pottery festival happening Saturday near Orlando that promises handmade gifts for every taste and budget.

The following is a non-exhaustive list of the fun, mom-centric events currently on ClickOrlando.com’s Community Calendar:
