13-year-old girl missing out of Daytona Beach, police say

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Police are searching for a 13-year-old girl missing out of Daytona Beach.

Denita Pearson was last known to be at 875 Derbyshire Road, the Daytona Beach Police Department said Thursday on social media.

Pearson is described as 5 feet, 3 inches tall and 120 pounds, with either red hair or a brown wig, the post states. She has a nose ring and small scarring on her left arm, police said. A clothing description was not available.
