ORLANDO, Fla. – Of all the beaches in the United States, two of the best are in Florida, at least according to Dr. Beach, who released his annual rankings.
Dr. Stephen Leatherman, Dr. Beach, has reviewed, evaluated and rated beaches and coastal areas for the past 30 years.

In addition to his annual ranking of America’s Best Beaches, Duke Kahanamoku Beach in Hawaii claimed the top spot, with Coopers Beach in Southampton, New York, checking in at No. 2. Wailea Bach in Maui, Hawaii, ranked third.
Two Florida beaches checked in at No. 4 and No. 8.
No. 4 - Caladesi Island State Park in Dunedin
No. 8 - Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park in Naples
