Saddle up! Silver Spurs Rodeo heads back to Osceola County

Event kicks off Friday, Saturday

KISSIMMEE, Fla. – If you’re looking for something fun to do this weekend in the AC, how about swapping your flip-flops for some cowboy boots?

The 153rd Silver Spurs Rodeo is back in action in Kissimmee this Friday and Saturday.

The event has been a staple in Osceola County for decades. It’ll feature seven traditional rodeo events, including steer wrestling and barrel racing.

“There’s bull riding, which is a fan fave, and the cowboy gets on a bull and tries to stay on for eight seconds,” said Sara Berlinksy, the Big Boss of the Silver Spurs Riding Club. “There’s team roping, steer wrestling. There’s something for everybody.”

The rodeo takes place at the Silver Spurs Arena in Kissimmee starting at 7:30 p.m. Tickets start at $15.
