Concerts still to come to Central Florida this year

Numerous artists are bringing their tours to Orlando, Tampa in remainder of 2024

ORLANDO, Fla. – It’s June, meaning the halfway mark of the year is almost here. This is about the time you look back on the year’s progression and it feels like the year has gone by so fast.

Thankfully, there are still six months to make this year even more memorable, tick items off of your 2024 bucket list and finally pay some attention to those resolutions you made in January.

Central Florida offers countless opportunities to make special memories this year. One of the most popular ways is by going to concerts and music festivals. This is especially true in Orlando, which has a rich music history, and the artistic craft is an integral part of the city’s intricate, cultural sphere.

Here is a roundup of some of the artists coming to Orlando and Tampa in the second half of 2024.

Kia Center

The Kia Center, formerly known as the Amway Center, is a popular concert venue for touring artists, located in the heart of downtown. There are still several who have a tour stop at this indoor arena before the year is up, adding their music to the intricate, urban soundscape of Orlando.

  • June: Jay Wheeler (June 23) and Roberto Carlos (30).
  • July: Jhene Aiko (July 6), Chris Brown (11), Janet Jackson (20), Zach Bryan (21) and Missy Elliott (30).
  • September: Twenty-One Pilots (Sept. 11), Cigarettes After Sex (13), Jelly Roll (17), Weezer (20), Silvestre Dangond (21) and Banda MS (22).
  • October: Charli XCX and Troye Sivan (Oct. 6), Yandel (13), Camilo (20) and Maverick City Music (30).
  • November: Christan Nodal (Nov. 1), Justin Timberlake (9), Olga Tañon (16) and Kany Garcia (30).
  • December: Kacey Musgraves (Dec. 2), Creed (5) and Chayanne (12).

Other Orlando venues

The Kia Center is not the only concert venue in Orlando, however. A variety of talented artists sometimes choose to visit some of the city’s smaller event spaces for a more intimate environment and close-knit fan base. Here are some of the places hosting concerts throughout the rest of 2024.

  • The House of Blues Orlando is a live music concert hall and restaurant located in Disney Springs, combining American fine dining, live music and art.
    • June: Little Big (June 22), Slippery When Wet (28) and Charlie Zaa (29).
    • July: PVRIS (July 2), Hobo Johnson & the Lovemakers (3), Saved by the 90s (5), The Spill Canvas (7), Nirvanna - Tribute to Nirvana (12), Black Guayaba (13), Two Door Cinema (14), The Aquabats (18), Ryan Montgomery (19), PARTYNEXTDOOR (23), Orlando Rocks! (26) and Lucki (27).
    • August: Taking Back Sunday (Aug. 1), The Head and The Heart (3), Is For Lovers & Hawthrone Heights (9), The Molly Ringwalds (10), Lucky Daye (13), New Found Glory (16), Andy Montañez and Charlie Aponte (24), Allen Stone (28) and Colde (30).
    • September: Badflower (Sept. 7), Nothing More (14), Alec Benjamin (16), Marianas Trench (20), Lasso (21), Epik High (24), Mocedades (25), Violent Femmes (26), Infected Mushroom (28) and Lawrence (29).
    • October: Sleeping with Sirens (Oct. 2), JINJER (3), Nothing but Thieves (4), El Cuarteto De Nos (8), Tori Kelly (9), Wave to Earth (10), Alvaro Diaz (11), Palaye Royale (18) and Zara Larsson (30).

  • Hard Rock Live Orlando is an event venue located right next to the Hard Rock Cafe at Universal CityWalk that often hosts concerts and comedy shows.
    • June: Ace Frehley (June 21) and The Brian McKnight 4 (28).
    • July: Jorge Celedón (July 13), The Marías (26) and D’aydrian Harding (27).
    • August: Beres Hammond (Aug. 23), Tems (24) and the Psychedelic Furs (31).
    • September: Coal Chamber (Sept. 3), Young Miko (7) and Something Corporate (14).
    • October: Daniel Habif (Oct. 5), Bacilos (6) and Rainbow Kitten Surprise (22).
    • November: Danny Ocean (Nov. 1), Greeicy and Yeliana (2), BABYMETAL (5), David Kushner (6), Manuel Medrano (7) and O.A.R. Florida (14).
  • Camping World Stadium is an outdoor venue located in Downtown Orlando, with a rich history and a variety of amenities. The stadium hosts a variety of world-class events, including professional football games and select concerts.
    • July: Def Leppard and Journey (July 10).
    • November: Featured artists at EDC Orlando (Nov. 8-10) and P!NK (18).

Additional, lesser-known venues which also feature an array of artists include The Orlando Amphitheater, The Abbey, The Block and Celine Orlando.

Tampa venues
  • Amalie Arena is an indoor stadium located in downtown Tampa that serves as the home rink of the Tampa Bay Lightning and often hosts concerts in the off-season.
    • June: Melanie Martinez (June 18).
    • July: Missy Elliott (July 24) and Fuerza Regida (27).
    • August: $uicideboy$ (Aug. 11).
    • September: Childish Gambino (Sept. 4), Don Omar (6) and Maxwell (15).
    • October: Nicki Minaj (Oct. 5), Kirk Franklin (10), For King and Country (11), Peso Pluma (16), Carin León (19), Brandon Lake (20) and Maverick City Music (31).
    • November: Cyndi Lauper (Nov. 6), Ana Gabriel (15) and Kacey Musgraves (29).
  • Raymond James Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium located in Tampa. It serves as the home venue of both the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the University of South Florida’s football program. Artists will occasionally perform at this location to provide fans with an ambient, outdoor experience.
    • July: Morgan Wallen (July 11-12).
    • August: Zach Bryan (Aug. 14).
