ORLANDO, Fla. – The state attorney’s office is hosting a free workshop next month to help people in Orange County clear their records of non-violent arrests.
The Sealing and Expungement Workshop will be held Friday, July 12, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Holden Heights Community Center on 20th Street in Orlando.

The event will help people learn about the process of getting their records expunged for non-violent arrests.
The event is free but if you submit an application to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement for the expungement, there is a nonrefundable $75 fee, paid with a money order or cashier’s check.
Advanced registration can be found on the state attorney’s website. However, walk-ins for the workshop are also welcome.
CareerSource Central Florida will also host federal bonding workshops at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. to help those with a criminal record get a job.
