2 men robbed at gunpoint in Ocoee; police search for culprit

Victims attacked on S Circle Key Drive, police say

OCOEE, Fla. – Ocoee police are searching for a man who investigators say pistol-whipped two people and stole their wallets late Saturday.

It happened around 11 p.m. on South Circle Key Drive as two men walked home from El Tequila along West Silver Star Road, according to a news release. Their attacker was driving a white SUV east on South Circle Key Drive when he exited the driver’s side of the SUV, walked toward the men and pistol-whipped them, the release states.

The man then took both of the victims’ wallets before getting back in the SUV and driving away, police said.

Investigators shared photos of the SUV and of the suspect, describing him as a Black man in his 30s with 5 to 6-inch long hair who was wearing a dark-colored sweatshirt and pants around the time of the incident.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to contact Detective Bonner at cbonner@ocoee.org or 407-905-3160.
