ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – The Orange County Sheriff’s Office says a 35-year-old man was fatally shot Thursday afternoon in Wedgefield.
Deputies responded around 1:10 p.m. to the 20700 block of Racine Street and located Benjamin Elton Nicholls, 35, who had been shot.
Nicholls was taken to a hospital, where he died from his injuries, the sheriff’s office said in a statement,
All parties involved remained at the scene and were cooperating, the statement reads, adding the investigation was still in its early stages.
