Orange County Sheriff’s Office seeks school supplies in donation drive

‘CRAM the cruiser’ collection event on July 10

ORLANDO, Fla. – The start of the new school year is coming up quickly and the Orange County Sheriff’s Office is looking for school supplies for students in need.

The sheriff’s office posted on social media Friday that it will be holding a donation event collecting school supplies to help with the cause on July 10, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The “Cram the Cruiser” donation drive will be at the Walmart at 11250 E. Colonial Drive.

The sheriff’s office is looking for such things as backpacks, pens, pencils, erasers, rulers, glue, paper supplies and similar products.

Those interested in donating school supplies are encouraged to stop by the store to help “CRAM the cruiser,” the post states. Officials said all items donated will be distributed to those in need to help them succeed this next school year.
