EUSTIS, Fla. – Get ready to satisfy your love of learning and the night sky at “The Stars of the Summer” event at the Trout Lake Nature Center in Eustis.
This program is designed to promote learning about Florida’s night sky and what constellations to look for during the summer months. The event, which is on Saturday, July 13 at 1:30 p.m., will be held at the nature center and led by Mike Ryan, the former Planetarium Director for Lake County Schools.

“The Stars of the Summer” will be full of stories about the constellations and learning about the stars visible in the night sky during the summertime in Florida. Each guest will receive a star chart to take home to continue their learning of the wonders of the night sky.
The Trout Lake Nature Center is a 230-acre wildlife preserve located near the southern entrance to Ocala’s National Forest in Eustis. Parking is $5 per vehicle, or free for center members. To learn more about this program, or other events held at the center, visit the organization’s website.
