Man sought in death of 13-year-old girl in Orange County

Rose Thalie Dieujeste found with ‘obvious signs of trauma’

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – The Orange County Sheriff’s Office is looking to identify a man who may know something about the killing of a 13-year-old girl on July 4.

Rose Thalie Dieujeste was found unresponsive in the 4400 block of S. Rio Grande Ave. with “obvious signs of trauma,” investigators said. She was taken to a hospital where she later died.

Investigators on Wednesday shared surveillance footage of a man who homicide detectives are now looking to identify. A cash reward of up to $5,000 is being offered by Crimeline for information leading to an arrest in the case.

The images and videos that the sheriff’s office shared show a man wearing a reddish T-shirt and white pants seen walking out of a parking lot.

“Our detectives are doing everything they can to catch Rose’s murderer and need the community’s help. No detail is too small,” a news release states.

Anyone with information about the man’s identity is urged to contact Crimeline at 800-423-8477.
