MARION COUNTY, Fla. – Marion County deputies were searching for a woman who was last seen at a homeless camp near Ocala.

Jassandra, 33, was last seen Thursday morning entering the woods with a “male subject” at a homeless camp in the 1500 block of NW 63rd Place, according to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.

At the time, another individual reported hearing what sounded like a struggle, the sheriff’s office said on social media, adding Jassandra has not been seen or heard from since.

Jassandra was last seen wearing a black shirt and black and white checkered shorts, described in the post as 4 feet, 8 inches tall and 90 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.

The suspicious nature of her last known sighting prompted concern for her well-being, the sheriff’s office said.

However, she was later located safely on Thursday evening, the sheriff’s office announced.
