“Ten-four.” The Florida Highway Patrol is ready for takeoff.

On Monday, FHP posted a photo of this year’s submission to the American Association of State Troopers’ annual “America’s Best-Looking Cruiser Contest” on social media. The photo features the state agency’s signature black and tan cruiser with a ULA Delta IV Heavy in the background.

“Thank you to our friends at United Launch Alliance and Space Florida for helping us make this photo possible! Let’s win this thing,” FHP said in a post on Facebook.

FHP is just one of the numerous state law enforcement agencies all across the nation to submit a unique photo representing their division’s signature vehicle to compete for the title of “Best-Looking Cruiser.” A list of all of them can be found on the contest’s voting platform.

The top 13 states that receive the most votes will be included in the AAST’s 2025 wall calendar and the winning cruiser’s photo will be featured on the cover. FHP was the winner of last year’s contest, and the hope is that the space coast representation will “launch” its cruiser towards the top spot again.
