Purple Heart recipients visit Orlando. Here’s why nation’s bravest are in town

Military Order of the Purple Heart conference held in Orlando

ORLANDO, Fla. – Hundreds of our nation’s bravest men and women are in town for the Military Order of the Purple Heart’s 91st Annual Conference.

The group is made up of U.S. service members across all branches of the military who have received a Purple Heart.

Over the next few days the group will discuss business but also enjoy the camaraderie that comes with being a part of the Military Order of the Purple Heart.

The Military Order of the Purple Heart offers several services to help support veterans and their families.

The group offers services like college scholarships for Purple Heart recipients or their children or grandchildren, suicide awareness and veteran’s assistance.

The veteran’s assistance program helps veterans pay for expenses like monthly bills or groceries.
