ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – A 16-year-old boy was shot and killed early Tuesday in Orange County, according to deputies.
The shooting happened before 1 a.m. in the 1100 block of Easton Street.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office said the boy was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Deputies identified the boy as David Anthony Vargas Acker.
Deputies said “all parties involved remained on scene, and there is no threat to the community.”
No other details, including what led to the shooting, have been released.
An investigation is ongoing.
