Monster Jam returns to Orlando for a smashing weekend at Kia Center

Arena tour stop includes 3 shows, 2 pit parties

ORLANDO, Fla. – Are you ready for Monster trucks and screaming fans? Monster Jam is returning to Orlando this time at the Kia Center this weekend.

Monster Jam made a stop at Camping World Stadium earlier this year but this will be the first time the in six years that Feld Motor Sports is hosting inside the arena.

The arena tour stop includes three shows and two pit parties at the Kia Center.

News 6′s Ezzy Castro spoke to Orlando’s very own Monster Jam athlete, Bari Musawwir, ahead of Saturday’s showdown.

“The trucks come into the arena on transport tires then we put the big monster jam tires BKT tires on the trucks and then I like to say some of the best athletes from Monster Jam come from the arena setting because it’s a tight confine. You have to really be one with your truck to be able to maneuver on a tight space like that,” Musawwir said.

Musawwir said this weekend will be the first time that fans in Orlando get to see the new ThunderROARus truck in-person.

“So there’s eight Monster Jam trucks coming to the Kia Center this weekend. It’s really cool because they are some of the best talent coming right here to this event,” he said.

Monster Jam is taking place Saturday, Aug. 3, at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. and Sunday, Aug. 4, at 1 p.m.

Pit Party is Saturday at 10:30 a.m.
