LEESBURG, Fla. – About two months after a Leesburg store clerk was fatally shot, the suspect’s girlfriend has turned herself in, according to the police department.

In a news release, police said that the accused shooter, Alex Lopez, 25, was responsible for killing the clerk during a robbery along Picciola Road in June.

But he’s not the only one facing charges in this incident.

His mother and sister — Patricia Kinchens, 43, and Breanna Lopez, 27, respectively — have also been accused of hiding Lopez from investigators. Both face charges of accessory after the fact.

While the pair was arrested last week, police were still searching for Lopez’s girlfriend, Kaili E. Dupuis, 25, of Wildwood.

According to police, Dupuis turned herself in Tuesday at the Lake County Jail, where she is being held without bond.

Just like Lopez’s mother and sister, Dupuis faces a charge of accessory after the fact.

Lopez has a plea negotiation conference scheduled scheduled for Sept. 10.
