OCPS said the Orlando Police Department immediately locked down the campus and began an evacuation, sweeping all the buildings on campus before giving an all-clear.

No injuries were reported.

Officials said students were dismissed for the day after the school was evacuated because the incident happened at the regularly schedule dismissal time.

School officials said there are no indications that the unfounded threat will have any impact on Edgewater High’s football game against The First Academy.

No other information has been released.

A police investigation into the threat is ongoing.
