ORLANDO, Fla. – Orlando International Airport has forecast around 6,000 more departures during the 2024 Labor Day travel period compared to last year, according to a Greater Orlando Aviation Authority news release.
MCO expects a 1.4% increase in passenger traffic compared to 2023, with nearly 900,000 people predicted to pass through the airport between Aug. 29 and Sept. 3, the release states, adding the busiest day is anticipated to be Monday, Sept. 2.

Thibault said in a statement. “During this busy season, travelers will benefit from our air service to more than 160 destinations, bringing connectivity across the U.S. and to the world.”
