ST, CLOUD, Fla. – Get ready to celebrate a part of Florida’s past during the Mosquito County Festival being held in St. Cloud.
The event is being held at Narcoossee Elementary School on Sept. 28 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.

What was once Mosquito County stretched about 11,400 square miles across the state. The county occupied the space that would much later end up becoming the Brevard, Indian River, Lake, Martin, Orange, Osceola, Palm Beach, Polk, Seminole, St. Lucie and Volusia counties.

This event, hosted by Narcoossee History, will showcase a “buzzing good time” with arts and crafts vendors, activities for children, educational exhibits and more.
