SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. – A student riding a school bus to Teague Middle School was injured on Friday after a tree branch broke through the bus window, according to a statement from Seminole County Public Schools.
The incident occurred when the bus was making a right-hand turn, a district spokesperson wrote. A branch from a nearby tree hit the very back window, causing it to break, according to the statement.
A child received a minor cut by the broken glass and was treated at the scene, the spokesperson said.
No other injuries were reported.
