ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – A 23-year-old man died after being shot Friday night in Orange County, according to the sheriff’s office.

Deputies located the man after responding around 8:20 p.m. to a shooting reported out of the 6100 block of West Colonial Drive, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.

The man, later identified as Marcus Ladunn Thomas Jr., was taken to the hospital where he died from his injuries, the statement reads.

Deputies said that they arrested 24-year-old Tevin Jeremiah Webber in connection to the shooting.

Webber faces charges of first-degree murder with a firearm, according to the sheriff’s office.
