Shirley Davis was waiting in line to vote at the Apopka Community Center on Sunday and said she was voting with her children and grandchildren in mind.
“I want to see America do well and get back to great health, so, it’s my civic duty, right?” Davis said.
Kevon Cobb was also in line on Sunday. For him, it’s about continuing a family tradition. He said his 101-year-old grandmother voted in every election she could.
“I figure I might as well help my sister keep that going,” Cobb said.
Early voting sites in Orange and Osceola counties will be open until 8 p.m. on Sunday.
Over in Seminole County, early voting sites will close at 7 p.m. on Sunday.

Orange County’s record-breaking early voting numbers recently prompted Elections Supervisor Glen Gilzean to open a series of “express” voting sites meant to ease the long lines at several polling places. An interactive map was also launched to show real-time waits at the county’s early voting locations.
