DELTONA, Fla. – Detectives are investigating after multiple cat deaths were reported over the weekend in a Deltona neighborhood, according to the Volusia Sheriff’s Office.
In a news release, deputies said the deaths were discovered in the area of Mentmore Circle and Montana Street. The timeframe was around 9 p.m. to 9:45 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9.

VSO detectives said they’re working with Deltona Animal Control to figure out what happened.
