ST. CLOUD, Fla. – Another threat was made early Thursday morning to St. Cloud High School, prompting police to conduct an investigation before the school day was scheduled to begin.
The St. Cloud Police Department posted on social media around 6:15 a.m. that the school’s faculty received “another bomb threat” and that the campus was on lockdown. According to the school’s website, students begin their school day at 7:10 a.m.

Police said in an update at 6:55 a.m. that their search of the campus was complete and no threat was found.
UPDATE: Campus search is now complete, with no threat found. Lockdown to be lifted and the high school will resume normal operations.

St. Cloud High School’s principal posted on Facebook around 6:15 a.m. about the threat.

The school district said in a statement before the lockdown was lifted that, “Students and staff are arriving on campus and being held in an area that has already been cleared by law enforcement until the campus can be 100% cleared. Everyone is safe and law enforcement is working hard to do that.”
Thursday’s incident comes a couple days after the school received a phone threat, which prompted a lockdown at the high school and two other nearby schools. After multiple sweeps, police said that there was no credible threat.
