Violent street takeover in Orange County sparks hunt for mob members

Thirty faces revealed in new video released by sheriff’s office

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – A violent street takeover last month has sparked a hunt for those involved, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.

In a release, deputies said the incident happened at a local intersection on the night of Nov. 30.

“A large group shut down an intersection, set a fire in the roadway, and used the space for cars to perform donuts around the flames,” the release reads. “The situation escalated as participants harassed innocent drivers, blocked them from passing, and in some cases, climbed on and damaged vehicles.”

The sheriff’s office also posted video of the event, during which a driver can be heard screaming, “There’s a baby in the car!”

“Believe intersection takeovers are harmless fun?” captions on the video state. “Here’s the reality...”

The video then highlights what happened during the takeover and reveals the faces of 30 people involved in the incident, deputies said.
