DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – A juvenile was taken to a hospital Thursday after suffering a panic attack when shots rang out in a drive-by shooting in Daytona Beach, police said.
No one was struck by the bullets, which were fired at the Pine Haven Apartments on Carl Brinkley Circle.

Daytona Beach police said a vehicle drove by and someone inside fired several rounds into an apartment.
“A juvenile at the scene became very distraught and was transported to the hospital as a precaution due to a panic attack,” police said in a statement.
At the time of this writing, there was no clear motive or suspect information, police said.
An investigation is ongoing.
