Wine shop infused with philanthropy, The Good Pour to open flagship store in Orlando

The Good Pour gets results by donating portion of all sales to charities

The Good Pour (The Good Pour)

COLLEGE PARK, Fla. – Central Florida-based wine and spirits brand The Good Pour is set to open its flagship store in Orlando’s College Park neighborhood on Monday, per a news release.

Ray and Giuliana Horal are co-founders of the company and have already opened two locations across Florida – in Longwood and Gainesville.

“It’s been a long road to get to this point – opening The Good Pour College Park – but we are so ready to welcome in the College Park community. Over the past year we’ve participated in events and have felt such a warm welcome from the people and businesses anticipating our opening,” the duo said in a prepared statement.

This flagship location is at 2201 Edgewater Drive – replacing a CVS, per a news release. The space is large, roughly 9,000 square feet, and will also feature a tasting bar, offering free samples.

It took over the CVS space about a year and a half ago, according to a news release.

“Good things take time for a reason and College Park has had our heart from the get-go. The neighborhood history and charm is unmatched, and as our team is local, we all appreciate it for what it is: authentic,” the duo said in a prepared statement.

To add on, there will also be a gift bar, where customers can create custom gifts via an engraving service, the news release states.

It will be the brand’s largest shop built to date, hosting more than 5,000 wines, beers, spirits and other goods, according to the news release.

What makes this wine and spirits brand unique is its focus on giving back; a portion of every sale gets donated to a charity of customers’ choosing, per Good Pour’s website. In stores and online, every price tag shows how much of the purchase is going toward a donation, the website states.

Meanwhile, it donated nearly $200,000 to charities within its first year, according to a news release. The company has a website dubbed “The Pour Board” which gives a breakdown on how much each charity is receiving – for those interested in becoming a charity partner with the brand, click here to apply.

“We can’t wait to host everyone in our wine and spirits marketplace and make a positive impact in Orlando, supporting the causes and charities the community cares about most,” the Horals said in a prepared statement.

All in all, the brand is continuing to expand across Central Florida, with its Winter Park location off 631 S. Orange Avenue set to open in April.
