“Higher inventory is exactly what buyers have been waiting for, and with more homes to choose from, now is a perfect time for people to make their home buying dreams a reality,” Lawrence Bellido, president of the Orlando Regional Realtor Association, said.

Pending sales also saw a boost, rising 24.8% from December to January, indicating strong interest from buyers eager to make a move. However, overall sales dipped by 29.7%, which could mean more negotiating power for buyers.

Interest rates ticked up slightly to 6.8% in January, which might impact your budget, but with homes spending an average of 74 days on the market, there’s room to find a deal that fits your needs.

Whether you’re buying or selling, January’s market dynamics offer unique opportunities. Buyers can take advantage of the increased inventory to find the perfect fit, while sellers can attract attention by presenting their homes in the best possible light. It’s a dynamic time in Orlando’s real estate scene, and staying informed can help you make the most of it.
