OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – A man behind bars in Osceola County is accused of attempted murder after deputies say he stabbed someone and ran away.

Deputies responding around 1:20 a.m. Friday to a stabbing reported at a Poinciana home located a female victim, according to an Osceola County Sheriff’s Office news release naming 39-year-old Julio Ramos-Aleman as the suspect.

In a video statement, Osceola County Sheriff Marcos Lopez said the victim had been stabbed “multiple times and in the face.”

Ramos-Aleman fled the scene in his vehicle before deputies arrived, but he was quickly located by detectives and arrested to face a charge of attempted murder, the release states.

He’s being held on no bond at the Osceola County jail, the sheriff’s office said.
